Teaching Courses Online

Are you considering teaching an online course? Come hear about differences between the classroom and online environments including student-student interaction, student-instructor interaction, communication, dissemination of course information and course documents, testing, assignments, use of technology, and instructor time-commitment.

MyMathLab Training for Experienced Users –

In this hands-on workshop, educators who have taught with MyMathLab for at least one term will learn how to customize the learning environment; create assignments for various learning options; mastery, self-paced, group work, add customized content, and efficiently manage MyMathLab courses.

MyMathLab Training for Advanced Users –

In this hands-on workshop, educators who have been teaching with MyMathLab for at least one year will learn how to utilize advanced MyMathLab features: manage multiple sections, create custom exercises using the MathXL exercise builder, customize the learning environment, and utilize communication tools.
